Competency-Based Educational Hub for Strengthening Egypt's Health Workforce
Our mission is to cultivate a skilled health workforce in Egypt by equipping professionals with the essential competencies required to achieve universal health coverage. To support this goal, we are developing a comprehensive suite of training and professional development programs, specifically tailored to the Egyptian, North African, and Arab contexts.
This initiative aims to establish a sustainable, revenue-generating model, with funds reinvested into educational institutions and healthcare organizations. The primary objectives include enabling institutions to implement advanced training into practice, ensuring that the next generation of health professionals is prepared to meet regional and global health challenges.
- Customize University of Manchester PRiME training for Egypt.
- Pilot the PRiME suite at an Egyptian university.
- Assess needs for staff development in higher education.
- Develop a plan for a national staff development hub.
- Identify research priorities for competency-based education.
- Design and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework.
